The role plays a key part in the Finance Department, supporting the Finance Director in the management of administrative, accounting, reporting, and tax activities.

The position has direct operational responsibility for statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance and is a core contributor to monthly closing, interim reporting, and group reporting processes.

The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and supports the Finance Director in interactions with external advisors and auditors.

 

Responsibilities

Finance Director Support

Act as a key operational partner to the Finance Director on accounting, compliance, and reporting matters.

Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls. Support the Finance Director in transforming the Finance function into a reliable business partner, providing accurate, timely, and value-adding financial insights to the business.

 

Monthly Closing & Reporting :

 Actively support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Prepare consolidation reporting packages and all related supporting documentation.

 

Statutory & Tax Compliance:

Supervise and directly manage all direct and indirect tax compliance activities.

Support tax advisor on periodic and annual tax fillings, ensuring full compliance with Italian statutory and tax requirements.

 

Audit & internal controls;

Support the management on the implementation of corporate policies.

Support internal and external auditors and prepare audit documentation and ensure timely resolution.

 

Requirements

•             Degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent disciplines

•             5 years of experience in accounting, administration, or management control, preferably in structured companies or audit firms

•             Strong knowledge of Italian  and tax regulations; familiarity with IFRS is considered a plus

•             Excellent knowledge of Excel and solid experience with ERP systems

•             Strong  knowledge of the English language

•             High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively within a team
